Final Summary Prep

Between upcoming final commit summaries and the expo presentation, I got a lot of work ahead of me.

This week, as a mentor, I did attendance and announcements as normal. There’s also poster work I got done for EzASM that, while not necessarily a mentor’s job, is something I did as a de-facto project leader, since the real project leader isn’t at RPI anymore. I also made sure to grade early submition status updates that were eligible for extra credit, where I aimed to get at least 33% done for my fair share of the grading between the 3 mentors grading in my room.

As a student, I worked on understanding the shubble issue I took on, as even the group leader admitted that it’s not an easy one. Especially since I don’t have much experience with prediction software and such. That’s not gonna stop me though, especially since I’ll mostly be building on someone else’s work anyways, so I can always consult Jacky for help if I need to. As for EzASM, I’ve of course continued on my current issue. Additionally, I also made changes to a previous poster in the effort to tailor it for this semester. I plan on printing it 2 days in advance to ensure that I’m not fighting anyone for a time slot, and I’ll pay extra for glossy paper so that it’s less likely to be ruined.
