This is definitely the part of the semeester that I’m being hit with the projects and tests from my classes. Some of them are just boring presentations that, while I understand that it’s important to get better at giving these things, whether that be by improving my confidence or simply apathy, I also just don’t enjoy them as much.

That is in direct comparison to a biology project I’m doing for my lab section. We were given a pretty broad topic of having to build on a topic discussed in the class this semester, with the main limitation being that it had to be some form of art, not just a plain slideshow. I find this very interesting because I can excercise some of my favorite forms of art, vector images!

The vector image I’m planning is taking advantage of the fact that you can have incredible levels of detail in an image, such that you could zoom into a large image of say, the earth, and keep going until you find a complete image of a strand of DNA. That’s the gist of what I’m going to make anyways, with stuff like a person, cells, etc along the way.
